CQC Information

Collins House was the first dental practice in England to receive an inspection from the Care Quality Commission. The CQC Inspector was accompanied by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Earl Howe, Minister responsible for dentistry in the Coalition Government. The CQC judgement said that “People using this service receive safe and well planned care which improves their dental health, improves their feelings about going to the dentist and meets their needs.”

We operate strict cross infection control measures and have a state-of-the-art central sterilisation suite in the practice. All staff members are GDC registered and receive regular training updates to ensure we meet the most recent and stringent guidelines.

As a Denplan Excel accredited practice we fully met the Care Quality Commission’s  requirements that set essential levels of quality, infection control and Safety standards that all practices must adhere to.
