Update 14th July 2021
Following the news of restrictions easing from 19th July 2021, we wanted to give an update about what this will mean for Collins House. Since Dentistry is considered a healthcare service, this means no change for us, and we will need to continue with all of our current Covid 19 procedures and protocols to keep our patients and team safe. We are therefore asking patients to continue wearing face coverings whilst visiting the practice, entering the building via the back entrance and completing the pre-screening Covid forms prior to appointments.
We have always adopted safe working practices and are following all the latest guidance, including additional PPE and distancing to keep you, your families and our team safe. Following a recent Care Quality Commission virtual inspection at Collins House, they were entirely satisfied with our protocols and procedures. We have received so many positive comments from patients over the last year, expressing how impressed they are with all we have done at Collins House to ensure your safety.
We are still working at about 70% of our pre-Covid capacity due to the current restrictions within dentistry, so please bear with us if there is a longer than normal wait for appointments.
We continue to remain positive that there is hope on the horizon – the Department of Health are currently considering how guidance to dentists can be changed and have said they will be reporting probably in September 2021. In the meantime, if there is any news, we will update our website and Facebook pages.
Best wishes and stay safe!
